It has an in-built weighing scale that lets you weigh anything before you start cutting it. This will definitely be of great use in measuring the right proportions of various ingredients before cooking. There are indicators to show whether the board is currently engaged or not. The back-light feature helps to examine the vegetables for spoilage and accentuates the stains for better cleaning. With constant improvements, an evolved version of the board for the future promises to have voice recording features with playback to relay instructions or play music. A touchscreen surface is also being contemplated upon!
2. LCD cutting board

4. Ultra Violet cutting board system
Here comes a chopping board for those who cook both vegetables and meats. One of the major problems in such kitchens is cross contamination from bacteria from the meats to the vegetables. Most of the anti-bacterial solutions available today may be harmful even for humans while the mild ones are many times ineffective. Solving both these problems is a set of four chopping boards that go into an ultra-violet light-emitting holder. It claims to kill 99.99% of the germs. It can be used on the kitchen counter top or even be wall mounted.
