Rocking in a chair not only calms a crying baby to sleep but even alleviates lower back pain, besides plenty of other health benefits. Scott Morrison has updated a 1700 Windsor style nanny rocker by redesigning the shape for the cradle’s base and rail.
He has made a mark by creating exclusive wood furnishings, and this ‘Rocker Cradle’too, is an interesting piece of art.
He makes use of spindles that connect the shape of the base and the rail, creating a pleasantly artistic product. Morrison has created the rocker by using several hand tools, keeping in mind the distinctive quality of the wood. Once the product is complete, it is hand rubbed with a mixture of tung oil and resin, to give it a glossy and protected finish.
