Recycled water flushing system saves water each and every time

xiamen recycled water flushing system

Xiamen is a city that faces water scarcity on a large scale, with a major portion of daily water coming from the Jiulong River. Lately, a newly-invented recycled water flushing system was showcased at a publicity event held by the City Water-conservation Bureau to promote the Water Week. This system was shown as a part of Xiamen’s effort to save up to 50 million tons of water this year. They have introduced an arrangement to reuse the bath and laundry water for flushing the toilet. The system comprises two pipes, one connected with the tap water and the other to the recycled water. The recycled water goes straight into the tank, and in case recycled water is not sufficient for the use, the tap water button is then brought into use. It’s a commendable way to utilize and conserve water that should definitely be housed in every dwelling.
