Music from Bonsai is a project by Diego Stocco in which he creates a piece of music from a bonsai tree. To determine the key in which the track would be, he used the lowest note that he could play and recorded the rest of the piece around it. He played the leaves and also used things like bows of various sizes, piano hammer and a paint brush and for the recording purposes he used Rode NT6, a customized stethoscope with tiny MEAS piezo transducers. He played all the music and rhythm with bonsai tree only, without using any other instrument like synthesizer.
