The Last Supper Table: Chinese characters and Fibonacci numbers brought to life

The Last Supper Table from Studio Lawrence seems to be so very normal, but on taking a closer look, you will take note of its interesting composition. This table is composed of different elements. The legs of the table are inspired from the visual nature of Chinese characters and the table-top elements are based on Fibonacci numbers (I remember Da Vinci Code).

The legs are an integral part of the table, which with the hidden steel construction allow all the table top elements to be combined, creating various Fibonacci sequences. When you use the third leg, it becomes possible to create table extending up to five meters in length. All the elements of the table can be made in different colors, allowing the creation of multi-colored tables. It takes its name from Leonardo’s 1498 Last Supper Mural, so you can imagine the intensity of interest that this creation is going to arouse.
