Adjust the angle of light beam with the Motorlight Floor

Gone are the days when lights remained fixed at a particular spot and angle, as Jake Dyson is here to change the well crafted image. This industrial designer has designed the Motorlight Floor that will illuminate and enliven spaces in a versatile way. The lighting solution looks like an inverted torch and can be placed on a table as well as on the floor.

The Motorlight Floor has an awesome outer skin and is the first variable angle uplight in the world. The design makes good use of an angel adjusting reflector and a patented focusing mechanism. The front of this light is fitted with a wheel that has been made from aluminum. This silver colored wheel when rotated, raises and lowers the outer reflector, which makes the width of the beam increase and decrease in turn. The back of the Motorlight Floor has controls that are easy to use. These controls help fixing the beam angel and can also be used to set the light to move repetitively through varying angels.

The beam can be tweaked by the user between an angel of 8 and 60 degrees. This will create various effects that will vary from a broad floodlight to a fixed spotlight. When the beam is allowed to move continually through various angels, it creates a thrilling aura. The result is quite gripping as the entire space will get drenched with cyclical light waves. One can also use various luminaries at a time to create an absolutely magnificent effect that will make eyes do a cartwheel in surprise.
