Overview
Drawing inspiration from the forms of animals, the designer created lamp stands that conspicuously resemble the bodies of animals. These table lamps are made from glazed earthenware and are distinct in their individual silhouettes, but are not very similar to the animals they represent because of the nature of the materials. Since the major artwork is in the base, the lamp shades are kept simple. However, the designer felt a classic style would add a touch of elegance to the pretty silk lamp shades adorning the heads of the statues. The sophistication of the lamps is further enhanced by the ruffle trimmings encircling the edges of the lampshades that are from Parisian Atelier.
