Nesting Tables for your cozy nest

Who would have thought that the versatile quartetto table created by Thomas Sheraton would evolve so readily and elegantly? Nesting tables today are descendants of the original four-piece stacking table-set. With space becoming a premium commodity in almost any urban area, the nesting tables are here to stay.

For those that are not yet familiar with the term, a nesting table is constituted by many (usually three) tables of differing heights which can be stacked into one another. However, they are not ‘stacked’ exactly because each table ‘stands on its own feet’ if we may use that term here! Thus, apart from being as functional as much larger tables, the nesting table doubles up as additional seats and even aesthetic centerpieces in a hall.

Creativity and functionality

The aesthetic possibilities of a nesting table have no limits and designers come up with models that are more creative than the ones before. The varying heights of the components adds a lot of visual interest. And so, depending on the decor of the home in general and the living space in particular, a nesting table of ones choice can be easily procured.

When it comes to functionality, nothing beats the nesting table. Apart from helping you host an extended dinner for extra guests, it is also great for group card or board games during the weekend. They serve as excellent bases to hold your exotic potted plants and also come very handy in hiding away those newspapers and magazines at times when they are not necessary. It is definitely a three-in-one with more than a three-in-one functionality!
